It is vital that after repairs, the operation of components is equivalent to that of new components. In order for repaired technical units to return to the streets, retaining the original capacity, fuel consumption and emission norms, after they have been repaired components must be carefully tested with high quality test equipment. Oftentimes, the repair process requires the generation of component operational correction codes, which are authorised for the aforementioned diesel systems, which is why this is only possible as a result of the interaction between the software of Hartridge and OE manufacturers. HARTRIDGE has been the world’s leading diesel equipment test equipment developer and manufacturer since 1935. The company collaborates closely with almost all the world’s OE diesel aggregate manufacturers. HARTRIDGE is the exclusive supplier for DELPHI and Siemens VDO product testing. Today, test stands with this name are compulsory for DELPHI, DENSO, VDO and Stanadyne official diesel repair centres. HARTRIDGE offers a wide range of universal and specific test equipment and stands for independent car repair shops and specialised diesel equipment repair workshops, starting from table nozzle testing equipment to stationary pump/nozzle test stands. In addition to manufacturing testing equipment for diesel equipment, HARTRIDGE range includes fuel quality measuring equipment, diesel exhaust gas analysers and other diesel workshop equipment.

BOSCH

As one of the biggest diesel systems manufacturers, BOSCH also offers diesel systems technology and workshop apparatus. Items in the product offering range from mechanical nozzle test equipment to stationary test stands. Bosch is also one of the biggest and most popular diagnostic equipment manufacturers. Its software ESI[tronic] and CompactSoft[plus] and test equipment BOSCH KTS and BOSCH FSA, have proven their quality for years, making car diagnostics fast and simple. BOSCH’s product range includes practically all the equipment required by a car repair shop: tyre assembly and balancing stands, conditioner maintenance and other service equipment.

DELPHI

DELPHI is currently one of the biggest OE sector diesel system suppliers to the car industry, with over 60 years’ experience and partnerships with 25 OE companies. DELPHI occupies a large proportion of freight, agricultural and industrial equipment diesel systems and is still rapidly expanding deliveries within the car OE sector.

Besides diesel systems, Delphi also supplies OE manufacturers with electronic and multimedia, safety and control, wheel and transmission, heating and exhaust systems. In 2014, Delphi successfully presented the first and long drive from San Francisco to New York in fully automatic (“unmanned”) mode, driving almost 3,400 miles in total. Several years ago, by acquiring a majority shareholding in the test equipment manufacturer HARTRIDGE, DELPHI has made a big investment in the future of diesel systems and continues to invest in the development of both diesel systems and test equipment.

DENSO

DENSO has been one of the leading diesel systems in the car industry since 1957. Denso can be found in most Asian cars, heavy goods vehicles in the OE sector. At the same time, DENSO can also be found in the vehicles of various European makers, one of the most notable of which is Volvo, which adopted Denso’s innovative i-ART diesel system. Denso focuses on reducing diesel engine emissions in accordance with global requirements, concurrently strengthening aggregates against wear and tear, and has been a pioneer in the development of systems including ECD (Electronically Controllable Diesel System), Common Rail, Common Rail Piezo and the latest Common Rail generation i-ART technology. Many specialists admit that Denso is one of the longest serving diesel systems.

VDO

In the diesel systems industry, VDO is a newcomer, although the company’s origins date back over 100 years. The origin of its diesel systems operations date back to the 2007 takeover of Continental AG by Siemens VDO Automotive AG, thus becoming the fifth biggest OE sector supplier. The company’s first and most important invention was a tachometer patented in 1902, which is an integral component of almost every car today.
